This season the team has gone backwards ,the recruitment in pre-season has been as bad as i can ever remember in all the years of supporting west ham and he wants to play in a team with better players and a better chance of winning things and qualifying for the champions league. He is 30 years old after all and it's a short career
The only suprising thing is he wants to leave for Marseille ,currently sixth in a piss poor french league. I reckon that is not where he will end up.
Putting emotion aside can you really blame him?

He has had as much to do with our poor league position as any other player, he has looked disinterested and has not been playing with commitment. if he wanted to go then he should hand in a transfer request, at the end of the season, after making sure that he has done his most to help the club improve its position this season.

Agreed. Yes it's obvious that the board are a bunch of cheap skinflints but you don't let your manager, team mates and fans down by throwing your toys out of the pram.

I think he would like to play with players who can control and pass a football, so no I don't blame him at all. Should have gone after the Euros really.

5million bid for Robert Snodgrass.
Fucking pathetic after all the players we have been linked with especially in the summer. We signed Fletcher and Zaza. Not exactly the Lacazette kind of signing we was promised eh.
I don't agree with the way Payet has gone about this but we as fans are disillusioned with the summer signings and imo so is Payet, and it doesnt seem to get any better with shit like fucking Snodgrass.

Some players have style, earn your respect and show it by putting in a shift. Then there are others, like Payet, who just don't.
